In-reach sessions at Stepping Hill Hospital

We’re very excited to be facilitating a programme of activities for patients on Arden and Norbury wards at Stepping Hill Hospital. This gives people the chance to take part in supported activities that will help boost their self-esteem and increase their confidence in a fun and enjoyable way. The sessions are facilitated by staff and volunteers from SPARC and will hopefully be the start of a long term project. Sessions will initially run for 8 weeks, from 8th April to 31st May 2013.

Sessions will take place as detailed below – please contact us if you need any further information.

Music – Mondays on Arden Ward (1.30-2.30pm) and Norbury Ward (2.30-3.30pm)

Arts & Crafts – Thursdays on Norbury Ward (9.45-10.45am) and Arden Ward (10.45-11.45am)

Cooking – Wednesday on Norbury Ward (11am-1.00pm) and Fridays on Arden Ward (11am-1.00pm)

We have also extended our informal in-reach visits so we will be visiting Arden and Norbury wards on Monday and Thursday afternoons on alternate weeks – posters advising the dates will be on show on the wards.
