Spring has sprung at SPARC!

We have had a couple of lovely sunny days here in Stockport and I decided to pop out into the garden to take a few photos that will go into our annual report later this year. It’s so lovely to see the sun shining and feel a bit of warmth in the air! I also took a few photos of the poly-tunnel, which is ready and waiting for the start of our sparc4growth project, (funded by the Equity Foundation) in April.

Photos from L to R: Buggingham Palace – our bug-house is aimed at attracting beneficial insects to the garden; crocuses in the rockery; inside the poly-tunnel; one of the ornamental features in the Japanese-style area; purple crocuses in the main garden; the fernery and grotto.
